The three organizations above have given pretty high marks to both political parties. These groups are concerned with veterans benefits. They lobby for adequate funding for the Veterans' Administration. They work for adequate U.S. military defense. They also lobbied hard for the expeditious construction of the National World War II Memorial on the Mall in Washington, between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, which President Bush signed into law on Memorial Day 2001.
